Chiropractic Medicine
We use Applied Kinesiology to determine where to apply spinal adjustments. We then use manipulation techniques including Cox Flexion/Distraction, Diversified Technique, Webster Technique, and Sacro-Occipital Technique to choose the best method of adjusting for that individual. If these issues are not rehabilitated, they will return and the patient will continually feel the need to be adjusted.

Rehabilitation
- Our clinic uses rehabilitation to correct neuromuscular imbalances. You can think of this imbalance as a simple act of “tug of war”. When one side of the rope (muscle) is pulling in a stronger fashion than the opposing side, an imbalance is created. If the imbalance is not restored, functionality of the individual will not be optimal and arthritis will set in overtime. Imbalances are always global and never local.
- We acquire these imbalances from emotional, physical, and chemical stressors. If we are not taught how to combat these stressors, then this will be programmed within our Central Nervous System (CNS).
- Dr. Zanayed examines your posture and uses muscle testing to identify the compensation patterns that are programmed within your CNS. The CNS utilizes your joints, muscles, fascia, and respiration to protect the organism from further injury.
- Compensation patterns have to be reprogrammed; Dr. Zanayed uses methods from multiple schools of thought (Dr. Vladimir Janda, Dr. Andreo Spina, Thomas Meyers, John Iames, and Robin McKenzie) to restore balance across the body.
-
The main techniques that Dr. Zanayed utilizes to reprogram the body is Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) and Reflex Locomotion. Dr. Zanayed has attended multiple DNS seminars taught directly under Robert Lardner and Michal Truc. These techniques use concepts and principles of Developmental Kinesiology (how babies develop the ability to crawl and walk) to restore human movement. This includes developmental positions, proper respiration patterns, and reflex stimulation to instill proper coordination within the CNS.
